About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. New grads are welcomed to apply. This position is scheduled for 36 hours weekly, working weekends only, in the X-ray department at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. The role involves core imaging functions and offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Compensation is aligned with experience. Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, HSHS operates 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics, with over 13,000 colleagues dedicated to a culture of respect, care, competence, and joy. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
  • 1 year experience is preferred.
  • WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
