About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist Pool performs radiology procedures and operates X-ray equipment. The role supports exceptional patient care and may require travel to other clinics as directed by the Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director. The technologist communicates effectively with physicians, employees, and other departments, responds to patient questions to resolve issues and support patient satisfaction, and maintains patient confidentiality while complying with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiology Technology.
- Current state certification and current ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- One to two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
- Operate X-ray equipment.
- Travel to other clinics as directed by the Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.
- Comply with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with physicians, employees, and other departments.
- Respond to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
