Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients in an ambulatory setting, within the scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. This includes positioning the patient for correct anatomy/pathology, operating radiation-producing equipment and electronic radiology systems, preparing the patient room, equipment, and medications, and maintaining adequate supply inventory. The role also involves explaining the examination and procedure to the patient and completing departmental documentation. The position will consider registry-eligible graduates who must be registered within 180 days of hire.
