Under direct supervision of the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical Director, the Radiologic Technologist (RT) will produce diagnostic images utilizing a variety of radiographic equipment. You will utilize radiographic, fluoroscopic and mobile equipment following prescribed protocols and procedures. As the RT, you will competently perform radiographic procedures on neonates, infants, children, adults and geriatric patients. You will complete all studies in a timely and efficient manner and produce film images utilizing Digital Radiography, image processors and process as prescribed standards. You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health. The RT is expected to support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the Santa Monica and Westwood region. Radiologic Technologists need to possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position; graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training, maintaining current CRT, CRT – Fluoroscopy and ARRT licensure.
