About The Position

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join their team. This role involves utilizing ionizing radiation to perform diagnostic X-Ray, fluoroscopy, tomographic, and portable procedures. The technologist will demonstrate excellent knowledge of human anatomy and pathology to provide quality imaging for interpretation and work collaboratively within a team environment to support department workflow. Requirements

  • ARRT certification
  • Florida Radiological Technologist licensure
  • American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
  • Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements
  • In-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program
  • Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s)

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years college preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment to support workflow and department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists and transports patients via wheelchair & stretcher.
  • Performs CPR and patient assessment.
