About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Radiologic Technologist in an urgent care setting, primarily involving 12-hour day shifts, totaling 24 hours per week. The role includes greeting and preparing patients for radiologic examinations, performing these examinations with proper technique, assisting physicians, evaluating images within PACS, and managing patient information and documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, explain procedures and answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures.
• Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures.
• Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique.
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures.
• Evaluate images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading.
• Print charts
• Access and document patient information in the patient medical record.
• Input entry and selection of charges.
