About The Position

ConvenientMD is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiologic imaging and hands-on clinical support in its urgent care clinics. The role combines radiology procedures with Medical Assistant responsibilities and works with a collaborative team to support accurate diagnoses and patient treatment. The technologist follows ConvenientMD and ARRT protocols, maintains radiation safety, and provides compassionate, patient-centered care. The role also includes patient triage, diagnostic testing, maintaining a safe clinical environment, radiology inventory and equipment oversight, quality assurance, accurate documentation, and support for onboarding and training clinic team members. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
State licensure and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification; CPR, ACLS, and online-only classes are not accepted.
1–2 years of experience in radiology and patient care; urgent care or emergency setting experience is preferred.

Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and ability and willingness to learn multiple systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare and perform radiologic procedures in accordance with ConvenientMD and ARRT protocols.
Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment while ensuring radiation safety and following ALARA principles.
Position patients for imaging and document completed studies in EMR and PACS.
Collaborate with radiologists on study interpretation, manage discrepancies, and coordinate outside imaging requests.
Switch efficiently between Radiologic Technologist and Medical Assistant responsibilities.
Conduct patient triage, including obtaining vital signs and medical history and performing observational examinations.
Provide laboratory and diagnostic testing, screenings, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
Perform vision, hearing, drug screening, pulmonary function, and point-of-care testing, including strep, flu, RSV, glucose, and urinalysis tests.
Maintain clean, sterile examination rooms and instruments.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and follow ConvenientMD clinical care standards and policies.
Manage radiology supply inventory and submit orders as needed.
Maintain medical equipment through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
Participate in quality control and assurance studies.
Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and ConvenientMD protocols.
Support onboarding and training for new clinic team members.
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with team members and external providers to support seamless patient care.
