About The Position
Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join their exceptional care team. This position plays a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures. The role also involves connecting with patients, from pre-screening to explaining procedures and offering emotional support, thereby playing a key role in the care process and patient experience. Requirements
- Registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology.
- Radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut.
- Ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care.
- Positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an EMR/EHR system.
Responsibilities
- Perform various radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patient illnesses and/or injuries.
- Conduct pre-screening of patients for precautions or contraindications.
- Explain radiographic procedures to patients.
- Provide emotional support to patients throughout the procedure.
- Maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting.
- Comply with all HIPAA requirements.
