Radiologic Technologist | Part-Time | Evening Shift | Newark Campus
About The Position
ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system with a mission of service, focused on providing excellent health care by partnering with patients and their families. The Christiana Hospital Radiology Department is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist for the evening shift. This role requires working every 4th weekend and every other holiday. The successful candidate will be proficient in using radiographic equipment, developing and identifying radiographs, covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, and Portables, assisting with training radiology technology students, and operating PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems. Equipment includes Phillips, Siemens, Carestream, and Canon.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
Nice To Haves
- RT Technologist experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
- Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
