About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently across multiple environments, including emergency and operating rooms, while ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification required
• Active New Jersey Radiology license required (must be in hand; no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
• Must be able to work independently in emergency and trauma environments
• Experience with operating room procedures required
• Experience with portable imaging and pediatric patients required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and technique selection
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure radiation safety using appropriate shielding and collimation
• Conduct portable X-ray exams in patient rooms, emergency departments, and operating rooms
• Assist physicians with contrast studies and radiographic procedures
• Prepare and process imaging studies and maintain accurate documentation
• Support patient mobility, positioning, and comfort during procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging areas
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and patient coordination
• Adapt care delivery to meet diverse patient needs, including pediatric and trauma populations
