About The Position
ChristianaCare, a nonprofit health system, is seeking a Full Time Radiologic Technologist for its Imaging Department at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. This position is responsible for operating radiographic equipment, developing and identifying radiographs, covering the Emergency Department (ED), OR, Surgi center, Portables, and Fluoro. The role also involves assisting with the training of radiology technology students and performing quality control on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems. The Christiana Hospital is a large, modern facility with Delaware's only Level-I Trauma center and has received national recognition for its quality of care.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
Nice To Haves
- RT Technologist experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
- Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon
