About The Position

As a Radiologic Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, you play an important role in helping clinicians see what’s happening inside the body—so they can make the best possible decisions for patient care. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology; or Certification from an approved Radiologic Technologist program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic X-ray images
Work closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging results
Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for procedures
Explain imaging procedures in a way that helps patients feel at ease
Follow safety guidelines to protect patients, yourself, and your team
Ensure equipment is functioning properly and images meet quality standards
Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment
