About The Position
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform x-ray procedures for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, along with related duties, under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires a good understanding of medical terminology, strong communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to perform the physical demands of the job. The technologist must be capable of working independently and be competent in General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro, and ED Radiology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Graduate of a JCERT accredited Program in Radiography
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Good communication skills
- General clerical skills
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
