About The Position

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist! We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to support a new Sports Medicine physician joining our team. This role will primarily work between Payson Sports Medicine and Utah Valley Sports Medicine, providing high-quality imaging in an orthopedic and sports-focused clinic environment. If you’re passionate about patient care, enjoy working closely with providers, and have an interest in orthopedic or sports medicine imaging, we’d love to connect with you.

Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
  • Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years radiology experience
  • IV Certification
  • Experience in orthopedic or sports medicine imaging

Responsibilities

  • Maintains ARRT competency and performs radiographic exams per protocol
  • Ensures proper patient identification, positioning, and image quality
  • Reviews images for clarity and diagnostic accuracy
  • Adheres to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards
  • Completes exams and documentation accurately and within expected timeframes
  • Supports clinic workflow and provides patient education and comfort
  • Operates imaging equipment and systems (including PACS) effectively
  • Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, and reporting issues
