About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. Participation in call and holiday rotations is required. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care. Requirements
- Participation in call and holiday rotations is required.
- Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
- Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Comfortable with Pediatrics
- Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.
