About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to work between St. Mary's and St. Vincent Hospitals. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. New grads are welcomed to apply. This role is part of the X-ray department and focuses on imaging. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with day shifts starting between 4 am and 1 pm. There is a rotation for every 3rd-5th weekend, on-call 1 night per week, and every 12th-16th weekend with 12-hour shifts. The facilities are St. Mary's Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital, located in Green Bay, WI. Compensation is aligned with experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
  • WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience is preferred.
  • Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Work between St. Mary's and St. Vincent Hospitals.
  • Work independently with all age groups.
  • Utilize a variety of imaging equipment and systems.
  • Perform imaging duties as part of the X-ray department.
  • Work full-time, 36 hours per week.
  • Work day shifts with start times varying between 4 am - 1 pm (8-10 hour shifts).
  • Rotate every 3rd - 5th weekend.
  • Be on call 1 night per week.
  • Work every 12th-16th weekend with 12-hour shifts (5a-5p or 8a-8p).
