Radiologic Tech II - Full Time Days - St. Peter's Hospital
About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic, CT, MRI, or ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental standards. The position works with physicians, staff, and others to support efficient, service-oriented operations and performs all job functions courteously and professionally in keeping with the organization’s mission and goals. This is a full-time day position at St. Peter’s Hospital, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role also includes scheduled weekend rotation, every third weekend, and two holidays per year. Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Current ARRT registration and New York State license, or eligibility for them.
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including radiographic, CT, MRI, or ultrasound examinations.
- Operate and adjust imaging equipment.
- Explain procedures to patients and position patients and equipment.
- Interact with physicians, staff, and others to support efficient, service-oriented operations.
- Perform job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the organization’s mission and goals.
