About The Position
US Heart and Vascular is in search of a Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Spring Heart and Vascular Center in Spring, TX. This role involves preparing instruments and supplies for procedures, preparing the operating field, and performing routine and delegated duties. The technologist will assist the physician and surgical team before, during, and after surgery, taking responsibility for the preparation of operating rooms by providing support, assistance, and maintenance of instruments and equipment. Additionally, the role includes assisting RN staff in the pre-op and PACU areas.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of Cath lab or surgical experience
- BLS & ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- ARRT Certification is preferred but RCIS or RCVT may be accepted in lieu of ARRT
Responsibilities
- Prepare instruments and supplies to perform procedures according to the physician’s documented preferred routine.
- Prepares the operating field for procedures.
- Performs routine and delegated duties.
- Assist the physician and surgical team before, during and after surgery and will assume responsibility and accountability for the preparation of operating rooms by providing support, assistance and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Assist RN staff in the pre-op and PACU areas.
