About The Position
This is a Full Time Radiologic Technologist position in HCMG Orthopedic Office. The role involves verifying orders and patient identification before performing requested exams in accordance with current filming standard practice manuals. High-quality images with proper exposure and positioning are expected, with variations from standard practice requiring documented explanations. The technologist will complete work in a timely manner to ensure proper patient flow and assist in coordinating procedures. Requirements
- Florida CRT License is required.
- ARRT certification is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Graduate from a Radiology Program is required.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
Responsibilities
- Verifies orders on patient chart for proper procedure to be performed.
- Verifies patient identification before proceeding with any procedure.
- Performs all requested exams in accordance with the current filming standard practice manual.
- Routinely produces high quality images using proper exposure values and positioning.
- Completes all requested work in a timely and orderly manner to maintain proper patient flow with other staff technologists.
- Assists supervisor or designee in coordinating procedures properly.
