Radiologic Technologist (Radiology - Diagnostic) Per Diem, Variable Shift
About The Position
Adventist Health Tillamook is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce radiographs of body areas as ordered by physicians. The technologist positions and instructs patients before examinations and adjusts equipment settings, including voltage, current, and exposure time, for each radiograph. The role also includes screening and preparing patients and exam rooms, monitoring patient safety, producing and documenting diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and verifying exams on PACS. Other job-related duties may be assigned. The position is per diem with a variable shift and is located at Adventist Health Tillamook, a healthcare provider serving Tillamook County and surrounding areas on the Oregon Coast. An associate degree in radiologic technology is preferred. Required credentials include ARRT Radiography registration, an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License for work in Oregon, and Basic Life Support certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy. Adventist Health requires associates to receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply. The organization participates in E-Verify.
Requirements
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) credential.
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License, required in Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy.
- Receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.

Responsibilities
