This position is for a Radiologic Technologist – X-ray at UW Health, which is ranked as the #1 hospital in Wisconsin. The role involves performing a wide variety of imaging exams on patients across all age groups, utilizing various radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting basic maintenance, participating in quality assurance (QA), and resolving issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. The technologist will need to make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate patient physical restrictions and pathologies. Additionally, the role includes serving as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs, instructing other technologists and visiting healthcare professionals, and potentially participating in clinical research.
