About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, MI. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, positioning patients, and accurately capturing requested images. The technologist will also provide clear explanations to patients and ensure physicians are notified of results.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 2+ Years of Xray Experience
Must have Experience with X-ray
Travel experience is required
Must have ARRT
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.
Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.
Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray.
Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.
Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.
