About The Position
The VA Portland Health Care System (VISN 20 Northwest Health Network) is seeking one (1) full-time Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to provide diagnostic imaging services on a locum tenens basis.
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification (Radiography – R)
- Active state licensure (as required by Oregon)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to rotating shifts
- Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital or acute care setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment
- Evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy
