As a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech), you’ll perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and play a vital role in providing safe, accurate imaging services that assist with diagnosis and treatment. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required)
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology (required)
  • Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
  • Current BLS CPR certification (RQI Responder) (required)
  • Knowledge of radiology protocols, equipment, and patient prep techniques
  • Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging exams following department protocols and ALARA principles.
  • Assess and support patients physically and emotionally before, during, and after imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with providers and radiology team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
  • Assist with exam preparation, venipuncture (as applicable), and post-procedure instructions.
  • Ensure timely documentation, image quality assurance, and protocol compliance.
  • Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe imaging environment.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
