About The Position

This is a new opening for a Radiologic Technologist Specialist at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital. The role involves performing specialized clinical procedures, including radiologic/fluoroscopic procedures for all patients (ED, IP, and OP), fluoroscopic-guidance for pain management injections, and intraoperative radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures. The position also includes shared on-call responsibilities to support on-duty technologists on PM, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. The working environment is collaborative with on-site imaging technologists and radiologists. The role also involves participating in a teaching and learning environment for radiography program students in clinical rotation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • High school diploma and graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology is required.
  • Must be self-motivated and reliable with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be a Licensed Radiography by the state of Wisconsin.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R registry is required.
  • Annual registration of individual certificate by agreeing to comply with the ARRT Rules and Regulations, Standards of Ethics, and Continuing Education Requirements is required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
