The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality X-ray images by conducting exams in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves verifying and following referring providers' orders while remaining in compliance with the Imaging Sciences departmental policies. The technologist must possess a sound understanding of human anatomy, x-ray positioning, and the use of immobilization devices. They will receive training and regular direct supervision from a more senior technologist to perform proficiency of the required tasks. The role involves taking independent responsibility for performing general section studies, completing all associated paper and computer work, and providing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
