About The Position

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) and its affiliated brands are seeking an accountable, professional MRI Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves performing high-quality MRI scans, preparing and positioning patients, operating MRI equipment, educating patients, documenting exams, and collaborating with radiologists and team members. The center is expanding its operating hours to include Sundays, and they are looking for skilled Technologists on a part-time or PRN basis for weekend shift coverage. This is an opportunity to earn extra income while providing convenient weekend appointment times for patients.

Requirements

ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility required
Experience in outpatient MRI setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Patient-focused mindset and a commitment to quality

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures
Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy
Educate and communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS/RIS systems
Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow
Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control procedures
