About The Position

This position is for a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography who will float to various screening and diagnostic locations. The role involves performing a wide range of routine, complex, and specialized procedures under general supervision. Responsibilities include basic maintenance and repairs of equipment, participating in Quality Assurance (QA), and resolving issues with image processing and archiving systems. The technologist will collaborate with staff to prioritize schedules and triage procedures, and will also coordinate and participate in the training of other imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians, and healthcare professionals, serving as a clinical instructor for affiliated programs.

Requirements

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
Previous healthcare experience Required
ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required
Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required
ARRT Mammography (M) certification within 30 months Required
CPR certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
2 years of clinical experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.
Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists.
