About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist Lead performs radiographic exams and supports the orthopedic suite and ACC-B orthopedic workflow. The role prioritizes patient comfort and experience, professionalism, efficient operations, and productive relationships with employees and the practice manager. The Lead also supports staff evaluations, compliance tracking, and onboarding. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position in Skokie, Illinois, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Local travel is required.
Requirements
- IEMA license.
- Certificate or associate degree from an accredited radiology program.
- CPR certification.
- ARRT registration.
- 2–3 years of previous technician experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of API, Radiant, and Intelerad.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams; obtain and record patient history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort.
- Oversee the orthopedic suite and assist with ACC-B orthopedic workflow and efficiency.
- Prioritize the patient experience and ensure the department maintains professionalism.
- Handle patient recovery.
- Monitor exam delays and productivity trends.
- Serve as the contact person for the practice manager and maintain productive relationships with medical group employees.
- Perform technician evaluations.
- Ensure technicians are current on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and flu shots.
- Onboard new employees.
