About The Position

Join UW Health’s expert team of medical and technical staff and take your skills to the next level. We are seeking a Rad Tech Lead – MRI to motivate, lead others and share knowledge with Rad Techs in the MRI Department. This role involves working with higher acuity patients and demonstrating crucial care skills in a number of areas including ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, Interoperative Neuro MR and OR. Additionally, the position provides advanced training to current MRI Techs and training for new staff members.

Requirements

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
2 years of clinical experience Required
ARRT Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification by appropriate body (ARRT) Upon Hire Required or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required
CPR certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
3 years of clinical experience Preferred
1 year of clinical experience in a leadership role Preferred
Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Preferred
