The Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology will proficiently operate angiographic and ultrasound equipment to perform basic to advanced procedures on inpatients and outpatients. This role involves assisting with interventional and surgical procedures as a scrub assistant, monitoring patients for life-threatening changes, and ensuring diagnostic quality of images. The technologist will also be responsible for post-processing and labeling images, maintaining records, and serving as a technical resource for students and staff. Additionally, the role requires performing patient positioning and transporting duties, demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care, and collaborating with other departments for patient management education.
