About The Position
TPF Nursing Registry Inc. is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist for a temporary Interventional Radiology assignment in Brighton, NY. The technologist will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, assist radiologists during procedures, prepare and instruct patients, and produce diagnostic-quality images. Candidates must have neurosurgery/neuroscience experience. Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Current New York State license applicable to the position
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
- Neurosurgery/neuroscience experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Ability to commute to Brighton, NY 14620
- Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
- Assist radiologists during procedures.
- Prepare and instruct patients.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images.
- Select appropriate exposure factors and position patients to produce diagnostic-quality images.
- Operate X-ray equipment and computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR) systems.
- Administer oral contrast as needed.
- Assist radiologists during procedures.
