About The Position

What you will do: Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort Perform radiographic exams Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel

Requirements

  • Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
  • License: IEMA licensing required
  • Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required.
  • Experience: Previous radiology experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
