About The Position

Responsible for providing technical and clinical support to the Imaging department. Operates X-ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes. This role involves working Monday – Friday with 4/10 hour shifts from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with 1-2 possible late shifts per week. A flexible call schedule, averaging about 8 calls per month, varies with rotation.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • At least two years of modality specific work experience required.
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
  • Knowledge of EPIC software
  • Familiar with PACS archiving
  • Knowledge of Hybrid Siemens equipment/Advanced Vascular features & Troubleshooting (Pheno/Zeego)
  • Knowledge of Siemens Portable C-arm functions to include digital subtraction, road mapping, measurements etc.
  • Familiar with Vascular supplies to include balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, sheaths etc.
