This per diem position requires coverage across all SEBMF imaging sites, including Berkeley, Oakland, Castro Valley, and (on rare occasions) Antioch. Clinic hours range from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Per diem coverage is scheduled as needed within clinic hours, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours. The technologist competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. They work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner. The role involves gaining confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adherence to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is required to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. The position may also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
