About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist II will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and computed tomography. This role involves daily checks of the work area, performing department ancillary functions, and providing education to patients and staff. The technologist is expected to maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with a radiographer.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and enrolled in CT correspondence courses.
- Must satisfy the 90 day probation period to begin CT training.
- Radiologic Technologist State License
- CT Certified after 2 years of initial training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
