Requirements

Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required OR Temporary State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required within 180 days of hire
Until the state license is obtained, technologist must work within the guidelines set forth by the State of Maine Board of Licensure

Nice To Haves

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred

Responsibilities

Performs radiological examinations
Exercises independent and professional judgment to produce quality radiographs
Abides by the policies and procedures set forth by the department
Recognizes the patient's condition, age limitations, and abilities, and acts accordingly to provide quality care
