About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist I Cardiac Cath Outpatient is a health care professional that Operates and maintains all radiographic, digital, processing and viewing equipment associated with the production of high-quality images and quantitative analysis of coronary/peripheral anatomy. Applies principles of radiation safety and protection. Acts as first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures to assure completeness of case. Reviews the pre-procedural patient assessment to obtain adequate information, communicate pertinent data to MD and ensure appropriate imaging and patient safety. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. We're looking for a skilled professional to operate and maintain our radiographic and digital imaging equipment, ensuring we produce high-quality images and accurate analysis of coronary and peripheral anatomy. You'll apply radiation safety principles, assist as the first helper during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterizations, and help ensure every procedure runs smoothly and safely. Your role will also involve reviewing patient assessments beforehand, communicating vital info to the medical team, and helping educate new staff and students in the cath lab. Plus, you'll be part of ongoing performance improvement efforts—gathering data, analyzing it, and suggesting changes to keep our practices top-notch. Requirements

  • Must be RT, licensed in the state where work is being performed and registered as a RT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • CPR certification
  • Greater than 2 years’ experience as RT and/or patient care experience.
