About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist Assistant supports the patient care team by providing a broad range of healthcare services. Duties include patient check-in, reviewing exams, preparing patients for visits, patient education, assisting with exams and procedures, and transporting patients. The position includes training to use a variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and software. This is a 30% FTE, part-time position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, with hours ranging from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours, and holidays rotate. The role is associated with UW Health locations in Madison, including UW Health Science Drive Medical Center, University Hospital, and UW Health East Madison Hospital.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of relevant experience.
CPR certification within three months.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in a relevant field.
Prior experience in healthcare or customer service.
