About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and X-ray examinations in accordance with departmental standards. The role interacts with physicians, staff, and others to support efficient, service-oriented operations, and performs job functions courteously and professionally in keeping with the organization’s mission and goals. This per diem position floats between the Albany and Troy offices as needed.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration and New York State license, or eligibility for them.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and X-ray examinations.
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and position patients and equipment.
• Interact with physicians, staff, and others in support of efficient, service-oriented operations.
• Perform job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the organization’s mission and goals.
