About The Position

Toledo Clinic's Interventional Pain Management Department is seeking a CONTINGENT Rad Tech. This position will be scheduled as needed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-4:30. The Rad Tech assists with radiology procedures as ordered by physician and performs other clinical and clerical duties to assist the office. This role works under the supervision of the attending physician(s) and/or the office coordinator.

Requirements

• Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
• Completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
• Holds current certification as a Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Holds a valid state Ohio Radiologic License issued by the Ohio Department of Health.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Successful completion of accredited radiologic technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
• Assist Physician with Radiographic/Fluoroscopic procedures.
• Answering phones - courteously and professionally.
• Scheduling appointments, lab tests, surgeries, etc.
• Verifying referrals and/or pre-certifications.
• Updating insurance information.
• Answering general patient questions.
• Taking messages accurately and relaying to appropriate personnel.
• Escorting patients to exam rooms.
• Monitor equipment.
• Request supplies.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Preparing and cleaning exam rooms.
• Sorting and filing patient charts.
• Other duties as assigned.
