About The Position

This role is for a Radiography Tech at Via Christi St. Teresa, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology. The schedule is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3 pm, with a future transition to include 12-hour shifts every third weekend and holiday rotation. Associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through an academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Produce high quality diagnostic images that empower physicians to make accurate, life-saving diagnoses for every patient.
Advocate for patient safety by strictly managing radiation exposure and meticulously following safety protocols to ensure a "zero-harm" environment.
Execute precision imaging by expertly positioning patients and selecting exact technical parameters to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Manage the digital patient record by verifying data accuracy and lead markers before submission to PACS, maintaining a seamless continuum of care.
Maintain a high-readiness environment by monitoring equipment performance and optimizing clinical protocols to ensure the department is always prepared for the next patient.
Surgery will be core assignment and will support Diagnostic Radiology - ED portables and inpatient fluoroscopy.
