The Radiographic Lab Coordinator is responsible for performing, supervising, and coordinating Radiologic Technology (RT) and X-Ray Technology (XT) student laboratory sessions, as well as Medical Assistant class sessions on campus. This role involves hosting and regularly conducting laboratory sessions outlined in the curriculum to facilitate students' transition into clinical settings. The coordinator will manage and oversee students during required laboratory sessions covering topics such as physics, digital imaging, venipuncture, positioning, and patient care. Additionally, the role includes mentoring students, proctoring on-campus exams, meeting with program directors to ensure student success, and collaborating with on-campus lab instructors. The coordinator will also be responsible for laboratory oversight, including inventory management, quality control (QC), and upkeep of the RT lab, student RT classroom, and related supplies. Monitoring student academic progress, maintaining records of grades, attendance, remediation, and disciplinary actions are key duties. The position also involves conducting clinical site visits for XT and RT students as requested and performing other duties related to laboratory coordination and student support.
