Step into the role of Radiographic Aide I and make a meaningful impact in our Radiation Oncology department. In this position, you'll support technologists and radiology nursing staff by coordinating patient flow, preparing exam rooms, managing supplies and linen, screening patients for exams and procedures, assisting with patient transport, and maintaining smooth exam room turnover. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Customer Service Volunteer work is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in verifying and accompanying patients from the waiting room to exam areas.
  • Prepare patients for procedures to include but not limited to contrast and metal screening, gowning and positioning.
  • Assist in procedure room preparation to include but not limited to stacking of linen, stocking of supplies, cleaning and disinfection of equipment, requesting of EVS and linen services as needed.
  • Coordinate patient transport, and transports patients as needed.
