This role involves maneuvering portable radiographic equipment, operating all components of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, assisting radiologists in examinations, performing radiographic procedures in surgery and on Level I Trauma patients, and preparing patients for exams. The Radiographer is responsible for determining appropriate exposure factors, positioning patients, and ensuring optimal film quality. They also maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, manage supply inventory, and adhere to safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and age-specific care standards.
