About The Position

Join our growing Radiology team with multiple subspecialty opportunities available! Positions are open for both new-graduate and experienced radiology professionals across various modalities and locations. Candidates must meet the minimum education and licensing requirements set forth by the State of OH to practice in the identified modality at the time of hire. UH is willing to train for specific modalities, offering potential to expand knowledge. Various shifts are available, including PRN, Part-time, Full-time, and Weekends only. Positions include Radiographer, CT Tech, MRI Tech, Special Procedures Tech, Mammography, Multi-Modality Tech, and Nuclear Medicine Tech. Locations are in the Northeast Ohio Area.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Requirements varied by modalities)
  • Licensed by the state of Ohio (Required for each specific modality indicated above)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)
  • Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system. (Required proficiency)
  • Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and excellent customer service skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including C-arms, portables, and various computers (Required proficiency)
  • Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to perform procedures specific to area. (Required proficiency)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates successful patient/technical imaging skills by producing a variety of radiological procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Consistently follows hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety.
  • Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements.
  • Maintains Competency skill levels for patient exam imaging.
  • Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
