About The Position
Under supervision, and following established procedures, performs a variety of radiologic procedures in two or more modalities, using standard, portable and/or specialized X-ray equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illnesses or injury.
Requirements
- Graduate of Radiology program
- Maintain ARRT and state licensure
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to operate radiologic equipment
- Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology; Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registration and Massachusetts licensure required
- Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
- Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in acute hospital setting
- Experience with sterile technique
- Experience with administering contrast dye
- Assisting IR procedures
- Experience with PACS
- Previous Cerner experience a plus
- Advanced registration for additional modalities and hospital IV certification as appropriate for the modality.
