Requirements
- Skills and knowledge to process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.
- Ability to carry out necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
- Ability to follow work instructions.
- Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
Nice To Haves
- X-ray or Non Destructive Testing experience preferred
- Ability to obtain Level I Radiography certification
- Ability to obtain Industrial Radiographer License
Responsibilities
- Actively participating in training program to interpret images, learn radiation safety, and operation of equipment.
- Practice interpretation of production radiographs in accordance with procedure/contract requirements for experience, not acceptance.
- Operate regulated ionizing radiation producing machines and the associated radiation detection instruments under direct supervision in order to verifiy all are certified for accuracy and a current calibration certificate is on file.
- May be asked to instruct operations personnel assigned to X-ray in proper procedures and operation of the radiographic systems.
- Maintian log book tracking training hours.
