Requirements

Skills and knowledge to process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.
Ability to carry out necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.
Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
Ability to follow work instructions.
Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
Ability to obtain Level I Radiography certification
Ability to obtain Industrial Radiographer License
Candidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.

Nice To Haves

X-ray or Non Destructive Testing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Actively participating in training program to interpret images, learn radiation safety, and operation of equipment.
Practice interpretation of production radiographs in accordance with procedure/contract requirements for experience, not acceptance.
Operate regulated ionizing radiation producing machines and the associated radiation detection instruments under direct supervision in order to verifiy all are certified for accuracy and a current calibration certificate is on file.
May be asked to instruct operations personnel assigned to X-ray in proper procedures and operation of the radiographic systems.
Maintian log book tracking training hours.
