About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Radio Room Clerk. This role involves receiving assistance requests from clients and customers, and assigning individuals and teams to respond to those requests. This position is part-time, with shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. ABM is a military and veteran friendly employer, and veterans with military experience are encouraged to apply. This job is suitable for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
  • No experience required.
  • On the job training provided.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Using caution when scanning out equipment, ensuring correct status and scanning the correct barcode for accurate inventory.
  • Leaving the work station clean and organized at the end of the shift.
  • Keeping the room tidy and organized, free of trash and clutter.
  • Stocking PPE throughout the day.
  • Writing employee numbers on vests.
  • Replacing barcodes as needed.
  • Covering battery ports on damaged batteries when necessary.
  • Cleaning equipment as it comes in and disposing of used rags properly.
  • Continuously scanning in the dropbox and not allowing it to accumulate.
  • Assisting with stocking the merchandiser and hydration packets during hydration season.
  • Notifying a SWA Leader if folders have not been scanned out by the specified times (10 am for AM, 4 pm for PM).
  • Checking in damaged equipment and marking it as 'Damaged'.
  • Listing the specific issue with the asset in the 'NOTE' field, especially if damaged by an agent.
  • Filling out a Damaged Asset tag completely and placing it in the damaged bin.
  • Retrieving equipment left in the Command Center from the previous night (for opening employee).
  • Ensuring equipment status is correct (In Stock or Checked Out) (for opening employee).
  • Assisting with searching for missing assets after the daily missing report has been run (for opening employee).
  • Ensuring all equipment is scanned in and clean (for closing employee).
  • Double-checking the previous day's Missing List for any missed items (for closing employee).
  • Taking the designated number of scanners, radios, and scanner batteries to the Command Center (for closing employee).
  • Ensuring water is stocked in the merchandiser for the morning employees (for closing employee).
